HSG ?

I'm having my HSG this Thursday and wondering if I need DH to drive me. I have a high pain threshold and had a saline sono with no problems, so I'm thinking it won't be a problem if I drive myself to and from. Am I crazy for thinking this?

Re: HSG ?

I think you can drive to and from with no problem. How far is it?
Bring a pad and wear comfy clothes for afterwards. You may have some cramping and leakage, but I think you will be fine. Chat Icon

Oh good! Thanks for the advice. One of my coworkers said she could barely drive afterwards and I started thinking. It's only about 15 minutes away from home.

Re: HSG ?

I was in major pain and could barely walk for a couple of days afterwards but they had problems getting the catheter through. Even so i didnt feel it until a few hours later. I drove myself and went back to work
