HSG
So, I have to get an HSG before I can go any further with the RE. Honestly...how painful is it? Is it crampy..or real pain? Any info would help. Oh..and also..what CD did you get it done? Thanks so much!

Re: HSG
I know some girls on here have had no issues with the HSG. unfortunately for me my uterus was not cooperating and it was hard for him to get the catheter in properly. But even with that the whole procedure took maybe 15 mins. I felt some slight cramping afterwards (like AF cramps) but I took Motrin and felt better afterwards.

Re: HSG
I took some advil an hour or so before and had no pain or discomfort. The procedure was really quick - less than 10 minutes - and the Dr and technician were so nice.
I did have a very upset tummy that night, but I don't know if it was related to the procedure, the IF drugs or just something I ate.
ETA: I had it done on CD8, which the radiologists said was a little on the early side. They like to do it CD9 through 15 because the cervix may not be softened enough before that, but I had no issues.
