HSG
I had my HSG done Thursday afternoon. It was more painful than i could have imagined both during and after. I still feel very crampy and I am still spotting. I called my dr yesterday and asked how long can I expect discomfort and she said another day or so. How long did you expereince discomfort? I just wanted to be reassured that it is normal to still feel discomfort for a few days. TIA!
P.S. On the positive side....Although I'm still waiting for the "official" report from my obgyn, the dr who administered the test said the tubes looked clear!

First, congrats on the tubes being clear, that is excellent news! Unfortunately, I do not have any advice since mine was painless thankfully and the spotting was gone that night. However, I do not think it is unusual to still be crampy and spotting - as long as you're not having a full-blown AF like flow! Plus, I would think that your dr would have said something if it was abnormal, so do not worry! If in a day or two it is not subsiding, then absolutely call the dr again, that is what they are there for! This is great that you have another thing checked off. Best of luck to you!!

I had a light flow after my HSG for a few days. When I spoke to my OB she said it was completely normal and I thought of it as "cleaning" everything out. Great news about the clear tubes thought!!

I had discomfort and spotting for 2-3 days. I got pregnany the second month after the hsg... I hope the same happens for you!

Congrats on the clear tubes!
Yeah, I had some discomfort and spotting for 2 days after. Nothing some Advil didn't cure.

I had my HSG on Thursday as well and my cramping went away over night. I had some spotting up until Friday morning but then that went away as well. My cervix did feel a little funky after BDing Friday night though I wouldnt say painful.
My MSG wasnt that painful (I was expecting ALOT worse) but then again the Dr. didn't inflate the baloon all the way. Maybe your Dr. inflated more?
If you dont feel better by tomorrow I would certainly call your doctor again to make sure everything is alright.
