How to tell if a handbag is authentic
I am interested in a Gucci bag on ebay from a top quality seller that states the bag is new with tags, controllato card and dust bag.100% authentic will accept returns within 3 days. Im usually pretty good at spotting fakes, this bag looks real..i keep analizing the pics. How can one be totally sure its real?

ask where the bag was bought and to see the reciept
when ever I sold Gucci bags on ebay they were from the outlet in woodbury

He said there is no receipt it was bought in florida at a boutique. Should i be leary?

Go to the gucci forum, and to the authenticate this thread, and post the link and ask the super nice authenticators over there to take a look for you, they are always right!

I love tPF! I've been a member over there since 2006. Great site.
I am adding that site to my favorites now!
They said the bag was a fake. I reported the listing as counterfeit. The ad even states new with tags, but he did not have the tags as the seller stated in his email.
So glad he cancelled my bid. Boo hoo thought I was getting a great deal!
