Re: how to organize toddler boy closet

We need help too. The new house has a big closet organizer in it.

We keep the diapers, extra wipes, extra lotions, etc in there. Only thing that gets hung are button down tops and jackets.
Everything else I keep in the drawer. I find it easier to have everything accessible when he's on the changing table on the big dresser. Everything needs to be in arms reach so I can keep one hand on him. The top drawer has the diapers, lotions, aspitator, wipes, etc. The rest are organized by t-shirts, long sleeve, pants, shorts, PJ's, socks

Oh, and in the top drawer is some hand held toy close by to distract him

Re: how to organize toddler boy closet

I hang everything but pajamas and onesies!
Then I just hang them in groups...all short sleeve shirts, then all long sleeve, then shorts, then paints, then sweater/sweatshirts! I like to see his whole wardrobe at a glance.

My DD I do the same but the closest is smaller so I got one of those removable/hanging rods (no drilling into walls-hangs like two hangers) in Bed Bath and beyond like in the pic below and I hang her shirts (long and short) then her sweater/sweatshirts, then her dresses on the top. Then her pants, shorts, and skirts on the bottom.

Re: how to organize toddler boy closet

We put a closet system in for all of his outfits.

Socks, undershirts, pjs all go in drawers.
