How to find/buy a Mother/Daughter?

So we are seriously considering having my mom move in with us. We would sell our house and purchase something else. We definitely want her to have her own space whether it be an apt on the house or a mother/daughter. We would look for her to have her own bdrm, family room with small efficieny kitchen and full-bath. I don't even know how to look for that. It really isn't a two-family.

Any tips?

i guess maybe you could talk to your realitor and tell him/her that you are looking for that & so she can keep her ears/eyes open for you?
