How to choose colors...

I need A LOT of help choosing colors for when I paint the inside of our house.

Is there a program, or FREE program that we can use that you can download a picture of your rooms and add the different colors so you can see what it will look like before painting it???

I really need to make sure we pick the right colors because we won't have the time to do it all over again.

Benjamin Moores site lets you do that.. Go to "colors" in their pulldown menu and it has a spot that it says paint your own digital pics. Just keep in mind the amount of natural light you have in a room when you paint. I did my living room in a olively green which I love still but it just made my LR & hall (which gets light only from the rooms) very dark. 2 years later we just repainted with a brownish gold and I love the brightness.

It probably is worth $10 but I always find that moniter colors are different & sometimes the computer doesn't give you a close enough idea.
Do you know the color families you like? Benjamin Moore sells small paint samples so you can try them on the wall without buying a lot.
Post pics of your rooms, you'll probably get tons of great advice here.
