Re: How to boost my immune system
I was getting sick all the time too. When I came down with a case of pink eye that was viral and lasted 2 weeks and made me sick with fever, swollen glands, sore throat as well, I knew I had to find something.
I got a recommendation on here for a supplement called IP6. Since taking it daily I haven't been sick once since May. Not even a cold.
The stuff gets incredible reviews on Amazon and is even being looked into as a cancer preventative as it triggers your body's "killer cells".
All I know is I haven't been sick in months and I attribute it to the IP6 . And I eat pretty bad. Not terribly but not "clean" whatever that is. And I don't exercise because every time I try, I get hurt. Every.single.time. And I like booze. So...with all that I should be sick more often I would think. I'll see what the winter brings but I am usually sick in the summer and nothing.
This is the one I take. Check out the reviews:

I take Elderberry syrup every day, and I do think it helps.

We do the same...me and my kids...We also take a probiotic and a multi-vitamin every day. In the winter we usually up our vitamin c intake as well.

Re: How to boost my immune system
I think boosting the immune system takes a lifestyle change-eating a clean diet 90% of the time, getting enough sleep and exercise and taking vitamins. Ever since I made these lifestyle changes, I rarely get sick and my seasonal allergies went away.
Otherwise, take vitamin d, vitamin c, probiotics and wash hands frequently (not with antibacterial soap).

Pretty much this. Eat clean, plenty of veggies, water, exercise and sleep 7 1/2 - 8 hours each night! Also during the fall/winter I take elderberry syrup.

All of this plus bone broth. Heal the gut, it's all connected.

agree with clean eating and rest and big time hand washing with no antibacterial soap every time you come into the house, and everyone else also, at least 20 seconds with lather.
Also, try as much as possible to not touch your face. It very quickly transmits germs into your system.
I eat a lot of onions and garlic and add tumeric to almost all my cooked dishes.

Do you take the 4 a day, or just two. Any side effects?

Just 2. Best on an empty stomach. If I feel something coming on, like the beginning of a scratchy throat, I'll do the dose on the bottle of 4. 2 in the morning and 2 at night. If someone in my house is sick I'll do the 4 as well.
But for every day use/maintenance I just do the 2 and it's been fine
No side effects at all.

How to boost my immune system
Proper sleep/rest is so important. If I'm not getting good sleep or running myself ragged for too many days in a row, I'm getting a cold, sore throat etc. it's like clockwork.

Re: How to boost my immune system
Scrub every surface in your home, change bed linens, get a new pillow and throw out the old one. Wash your hands after going to the bathroom, after you come home, and when touching raw meats. Have live plants in your home. Open the windows to allow fresh air into your home. Get a good nights sleep. Eat real food. The less processed or man made the better. Exercise regularly.
