What kind of clothing?? Jeans, Pants, Shirts??

Who am I kidding my secret to no wrinkles is dry cleaning and transferring things to wooden hangers. But I do have some knowledge...I used to do my own laundry.

Reallllllly, I did!

My dryer and listening to the shreak of the alarm telling me it's done! Then I run and desperately put everything on hangers so there are no wrinkles.

I'm nuts I know, but I hate, hate, hate ironing!

Re: How to avoid ironing!!!

One of my Mom's tricks to getting wrinkles out is to toss the wrinkled item into the dryer w/ a clean, wet (but not dripping wet) facecloth or dish towel (or something smal like that). The wrinkled item isn't always 100% wrinkle free, but it definitely helps a lot, especially if you're in a rush and don't want to be bothered w/ ironing.

Another tip is to always fold/hang up your clothes as soon as the dryer is done. Sitting in there will cause them to wrinkle.

Steamer! So much quicker and easier than ironing.

Re: How to avoid ironing!!!

i have a streamer- its more fun to use but it still takes as long as ironing

however the brooks btohers button down shirts- non iron- are fantastic! and i totally recommend that everyone buys one in white- there will always be crisp creases on the sleeves no matter what

Re: How to avoid ironing!!!

Sometimes I'll spray clothes with a water bottle and throw them in the dryer while I'm in the shower. In the winter this is great all toasty warm but summer you def. have to give them time to cool off!
