How the heck do you get your toddler to sit still for a pic??
I've tried 3 times now to get DS to take our Christmas card pic. Hes almost 14 months and just wants to run. I try to get him to sit on the stoop, all I can get is his back running away lol! Any tricks?

A big candy cane? A favorite stuffed animal? A favorite toy?!!
I've used all 3
At almost 2 1/2 I anticipate the same issue so I am planning on there being some sort of food object in the photo Candy cane...cookies....something!

take pics when you aren't trying 
forcing him to sit will make him not want to sit. Play around and make it light and you may get a good shot or two
