Do you mean when they use the doppler? If I remember right, it was 12 weeks. They said at that point they can't always hear it but they did. Seeing a hb on the sono was 6 weeks and a few days.

if you are talking about a transvaginal ultrasound, it can usually be heard by 6 weeks. I was roughly 5 1/2 weeks when I first heard the heartbeat at 106 bpm.

6w1d was the first sono and we saw it. I had a sono at 8w1d and heard it. Not sure if they could have heard it earlier.

At 6 weeks the hb was very faint. We couldny see or hear it. We heard it at 7w2d nice and strong!

we saw it nice and strong at 6w1d but my RE didn't use sound on the sono so we heard it the first time at 10w at the OB.

for my fist 2 we saw the sac at 5w2d and heard the hb at 7w2d. For this baby we saw a flicker at 6w1d and went back at 7w1d and heard the hb.

since i was as seein a re i was able to hear it via internal sono at 6w3d.
my first ob appointment was at 9w3d. they did a regualr sono that day and was able to get a good pic of her with a great hb

At 6w exactly we had an external sono because our dates were WAY off and we thought we were 12 weeks. We didn't hear one at that time- there was only a sac. We went back exactly 1 week later- 7w0d and had an internal, we heard a strong heartbeat.
SO crazy how much changes in just 1 week.
