how productive were you today?

my office is EMPTY this week. I am bored out of my mind. Everyone is at a conference in Vegas - I left on Monday but everyone else flies home tomorrow. So here's what I did today:

- slept for a half hour (I'm LOL reading that but its true)
- started a letter to other pr agencies asking for freelance work
- talked to my friend for two hours
- closed a checking account
- hung out on LIF
- Started a peapod order

What have you done today?

ETA: And about 45 minutes worth of work.

Ridiculously productive actually. I returned over 35 phone calls My throat hurts.

I completed a physical inventory of 800 servers and documented issues with the setup. I consolidated my findings and sent them to my vendors so they can adjust the price of my statement of work. The current value of the SOW is 250,000. So I have been VERY productive today.

I need to catch up with my FM group through since I haven't been giving them the attention they deserve.

I was semi productive. My boss was out today on his boat (lucky him) so I hung out in my office doing some very backed up HR work.

Also floated around LIF, myspace, and chatted with my sister on the phone about 10 times.

i work at a school so i'm home for the summer... so yeah, i'm being lazy enjoying my last couple days off!
today, i surfed on here, watched my daytime TLC shows.... but i did manage to dust the whole house, and do an hours worth of weeding outside... so i guess thats pretty good?? lol

I just started a new job on Monday. LOTS to learn!! and my boss already has me working, the nerve

I was done with my daily cash reports, bank reports and quick book stuff by 9:30. I started to actually work on that stuff at 8:30.

Between 9:30 and 1:00 I did chargebacks, inventory and opened my co-workers massive pile of vendor bills and invoices that she is back logged on.

from 2 - 3 I did nothing. Sent a few IM's and emails.

3 - 4 was the monthly birthday and anniversary treats. This time was a little more b/c the director of IT (who is 24) and has been with the company since they opened their doors has decided to spread his wings and has accepted a position with a new company.

4 my boss gives me the singapore inventory to work on. at 4:50 we come to realize that their seems to be stuff missing from inventory control. Things that should have a price dont, things that are suppose to be on their way to Singapore may not be (that is why the company is sending about 3 - 4 people on Monday to Singapore for 10 days) so he goes to talk to the Director of Op's and IT to see if we can get another report. and I wait....and wait and wait for him to come back. My day ends at 5 and I stayed until 5:30 waiting for my boss to come back and he didnt.

So I left and this will have to get done first thing tomorrow morning.

Somewhat productive. I helped out with the front desk cause we were busy. Finished my weekly to do list. Set up materials for tomorrow's day on campus. Coordinated 3 mailings for a coworker. Did a conference call for my boss since he was out.

All with a splitting headache and a cold.

Oh man I did a ridiculous amount of work! In fact I stared at one Excel spreadsheet from 1:30-6 and still didnt finish!

-Laundry in the am
-Impromptu 6:45am meeting with my boss
-huge amount of paperwork done
-employee troubleshooting
-met w. events planners
-yoga @ lunch
-photoshop minicourses via podcast on the train
-called birthday party places for ds's bday
-made his invitation on the train ride home
-more laundry

Very!!

Ran five miles at the gym and lifted.
Went to staples and got all of my posters laminated for back to school.
Purchased everything else I will need for my classroom.
Trimed the posters.
Cleaned my apartment.
Packed more of my stuff....we are moving in a few days.
Babysat my nieces
and I am now getting ready to begin lesson planning.
