How old was your DC when you started taking them to Mommy & Me classes?

DS will be three months in about a week and a half. I've signed us up at our local library for a Mommy & Me class for infants 3-9 months old. Is 3 months still too young? Thankfully, it's free so if he hates it, no love or money lost.

I started at 5 or 6 months at Gymboree. There were babies younger there.

DS went to a bunch of trials, free story times and library classes from around 6 months old.

We started enrolling him in classes at around 10 months. Started off with music class and then we added a gym class when he started walking at around 13m.

I wouldn't do it until DS was sitting up by himself, only because he was so big and heavy for his age, it would have been so hard to hold him up all the time.

So for us it was 6m.

eta: also I wanted him to have all the major shots done. Especially with all the old bugs coming back.

I started taking DD to the free classes at the library when she was about 3 months (the rec'd age was 10 weeks to walking). Especially for the price (free) they were great and I met some nice local moms.

I am considering doing a gymboree or my gym class in the winter and in the summer we will probably do a mommy and me swim.

We are starting at the Little Gym after Thanksgiving...the twins will be almost 4months. I would have started at 3 months if it wasn't for the holiday and some other obligations.

DS is almost 3 months and I am looking into starting these soon! It would be nice to meet new mommies in the area and have something fun to do with DS! Wanted to wait until he had his pertussis shot with whooping cough going around....
