I think Dutch Wonderland in PA is good as well (I've never been but I've heard good things).

DS will be 21 months in June and I really want to take him to Sesame Place this summer!

Same with us. DD loved it, although I have to admit that she spent most of the time in the kiddie pool - not so into the rides (so you might want to make sure it is warm when you goChat Icon )

I think Dutch Wonderland would be too young for that age. We went last summer (DD was almost 3) and there was still a lot she couldn't/didn't want to do.

We also did the Jersey Shore at 18 months (Sea Isle) and I found it to be great for that age (and I was preggo and by myself with her for part of the trip). There was easy access to the beach, a playground around the corner and lots of stuff within driving distance (Zoo, aquarium, childrens museum, etc.)
Hoping to get back there this year!

DS was 20 months the first time we went to Sesame and he had a great time. We also went to Disney a week later and he enjoyed that even more then I expected too.

DS was 21 mos and I think 18mos is a good age. I'd go by how much your DC likes the water. DS stayed mostly in the kiddie pool and wasnt a fan of things splashing him and the rides but he loved the characters and the parade so he still really enjoyed it!

We took her this past summer and she was just about 18 months. She loved the little toddler pit, the elmo show, the water park portion. She didn't really go on a lot of rides, but she loved wading in the water parts. She LOVED the Splash Castle.

we went to sesame place when DD was 11 months she loved it. She wasnt walking yet, so she loved just sitting in the pools and splashing around. We went with my cousins DD who had just turned 2 and she loved it also.

I think 18 months is a great age for SP.
