How old for White Post Farms??

DD is 8 months, loves animals, well at least our dogChat Icon. Is she too young, or will she be mildly amused?

We took DD for the first time at 9 months old and she loved it, especially the animals.

We went when he was about 10 1/2 months the first time. He seemed mildly interested, but LOVED the hayride.

Took him again at 18 months and he loved it.

Around 16 mos took DS to Holtsville Ecology Site. He liked the ducks, chickens that were close up. He didn't really understand what he was suppose to be looking for in the fox den where they were hiding or the larger birds that were perched.

I'd say even if they don't "get it" its still a nice day for it.

Re: How old for White Post Farms??

We took DS at about 8 months for a party. I was so excited to take him but he did not enjoy it. He barely noticed the animals, then he heard the goat....he is now traumatized by the sound. To this day, at almost 15 months he still cries when DH decides to taunt him with "BAAAAAA." I want to try again though....
It's beautiful weather, if you have nothing else to do, and don't mind spending on the admission, it's still something to do even if she doesn't notice.
