You can bring your baby on a plane anytime. I would personally wait til at least a few weeks. I am also not one to wait for shots. My DS went plenty of places before any shots. And I would have brought him on a plane if I needed to travel.
DS flew at 4 months for vacation but if I had a funeral or soemthign I would have done it earlier.

I flew with DS to Europe when he was 6 weeks. Doctor said to have a great time and not to worry he would be fine!! I did get his 1st shots for my peace of mind though. He slept the whole way 7 hours each way. I plan on doing the same trip when this baby is 6 weeks.

We have no plans of flying with the baby till after he or she receives the MMR shot. I'm sure it is fine, but it makes me feel better not to.
