Oh geez...I try to do them every other week but the real truth is probably once a month  . I saw on Dr Oz that you should really wash them every week because there is so much bacteria on everything from the toilet to walking in the bathroom with shoes on, etc.

i only have a rug in my master bath, we don't use the showers in the other 2 bathrooms so i don't have any rugs in there...
but the rug in my master does not get washed every week i guess i'll have to start doing it weekly when i do the towels - i didn't realize how gross it was!

i bought a microfiber rug from BBB to use when we get out of the shower and then we hang it over the shower doors to dry when we're done. so we dont have a rug on the floor. i think i've only washed it twice in almost 5 months. sounds gross. now i know what im doing this weekend.

Every week, I have two so I switch out.
Same here. We also drape it over the tub after we are finished showering.

because of this thread I threw my mat in the washer last night. I hang dry it so I had to use a towel this morning. It still wasn't dry.

I don't have a bath rug in our bathroom - no room for it. We use a bath mat towel for after our showers.
