How often do you get an ultrsound/sonogram?

I had one at 8 weeks. My 12 week appointment is tomorrow and I had assumed it was normal to get another at the 12 week but I just found out it is only an internal exam.

I'll find out for sure from my doctor tomorrow, but I am just wondering how many/when everyone else got them.

i had one at my second appt (6w 4d) then i did the ultrascreen at 12w 2d. Had i opted out of the ultrascreen i dont think i would have gotten one until 20w(which is when my next one is).

with dd i had them at 7, 12, 20 weeks and a growth sono at 32 weeks

this pg only had one at 7 weeks and 17 weeks

I had one at 8 weeks, then 12 weeks (ultrascreen), then 20 weeks (Level II). Not sure when the next one is, or how many are left in a typical pregnancy.

I had one at 6 weeks, Ultrascreen at 16, and Im having one at 32 weeks for the growth check. I also had one at 9 nine weeks but I was bleeding and we opted to have a 3D/4D sono.

The sono tech I saw last week said most women typically get 3 sonos done. It depends on your dr, your ins & your circumstances.

I had one at 7 weeks, 12 weeks (ultrascreen), and 19 weeks (Level II).

I also had an elective 3d/4d sonogram.

Other than that I was told no more for me unless there is a problem.

I get one at every appointment, every two weeks to check for heartbeats and positions of the babies.

I get an Ultrascreen (to monitor growth, etc.) about once a month.

More than most due to being classified as high risk.

Just the ultrascreen (12 weeks) and Level II (20 weeks).

They don't even do a growth sono unless they think there is something wrong.

I had one at 7 weeks 3 days
and i am going to have another in my 10 week she said if i wanted it, I said yea why not.

I had one at 9 weeks, then ultrascreen at 12 weeks and just had one last week at 20 weeks... I am not sure if I will have any more sonos...

I had one at 10 weeks, one level II at 17 weeks, another level II at 22 weeks and then we paid for a 4d one at 27 weeks...I will not be getting any more unless the Dr. thinks the babies size is an issue

I had one at 7wks and another at 12 weeks...my next one isn't until 20 weeks and then I'm not sure if there are any after that

With DS, I only had one planned at 20 weeks. I ended up having a fetal eccho done at 28 weeks bc of an irregular HB.

With this one, I had one at 9, 18, and 28 weeks. The first one was bc I didn't know when my last period was so they needed to give me an EDD. The one at 18 weeks was my Level II. And since I had a 10lb baby before they want to monitor the growth of this one closer.

I had one about every 2 weeks up until 24 weeks cause they were watching my cervix... but at 28 weeks, havent had one since!

i had 2 so far.. i was only supposed to get 1 so far but i was bleeding and they wanted to make sure baby wsa ok.. I go again on Mon, an they will be my 3rd, i am in my 12th week

1st: 7 wks
2nd: 11wks (dr did a quick one because i didn't feel pg)
3rd: 13wks- ultrascreen
4th: 20wks- level II
5th: will be at 36wks

At the rest of my exams. the dr. checked the heartbeat. I only had an internal exam at the first appt. Mostly they check my weight and blood pressor and go over any tests I had, etc...

After my level II, b/c i have high blood pressure, I have being going for growth scans every 3 weeks

Every Dr.'s appt- mainly b/c I'm high risk.

Went to the Dr.'s on Tues. and I was sad i didn't have one, I wanted to see the baby!

I had an internal at my first visit and another 2 weeks later. I also just went for my ultrascreen last week at 13 weeks and my next on eis at 20 weeks..

But since I am having twins I will be having them once a month to check for growth
