How often do you call the ped?

For the new moms...how often do you call the ped? It seems like everytime I post a question here...or read some of the other posts, most of the time the answer is call the ped? Just curious...how often do you usually call? Our next ped appointment isn't until DD is 8 weeks (she will be 4 weeks on Wednesday). So...should I save up a bunch of questions and call them...or call everyday

DD is 6 weeks tomorrow and I only called the Ped once.

For non urgent matters, I keep a list of questions and keep them for the next appt. I have called about three or four times though and he is 15 weeks because I had concerns that I didnt think could wait.

I don't think I ever called my pediatrician, except to make appointments!

Well, I take that back. When Lauren was 3 weeks old, I ended up in the hospital for a week and needed to switch Lauren to formula. I had been BF and couldn't anymore. I called the pedi to ask her what formula and how much since I had never used formula before.

Maybe two or three times...he is a year. I keep a list as well for his well care visits.

I called the ped on Friday about Jeremy's tongue but only to ask the nurse about it and the ped called me back which was nice

I don't call for symptoms or fevers except if they are enough for me to want to bring them in for a check up.

I haven't called yet but so far she's been a pretty easy going baby (knock on wood) so I wait until her appts to ask anything.

DS is almost 4 1/2 months and I have called once. I have the book "What to expect the first year" and pretty much all the answers are in there.

Honestly when Emily was a newborn I called a lot! I'd say once a week! But she had like everything that little babies get ---- thrush, a yeast infection/diaper rash, severe baby acne, etc.

DD is 6 months old, and I called once when she was about 2 weeks old.

I can count on one hand and DD is 4 mos. I have only called for things that I felt were urgent. Otherwise I save my questions for visits.

Never only to make appointments

He is 18 months and I have called I think 6 times total.
