How often and How do you wash your makeup brushes?

Just started using foundation and not sure how to care for the brushes

I wash them with dishwashing liquid, probably ever 3 months or so. I usually soak them up for about 30 minutes and them wash until the water runs clear and let air dry overnight.

Every few months, actually thanks for the reminder because I'm about due for it

I use a brush shampoo I got at Target. I throughly clean and wash them until water is clear and lay them all out on a towel to dry overnight

Quarterly - same time I change my toothbrush.

I wash with Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo or philosophy Purity, then let them air dry by hanging the brush part off the counter.

I wash them with brush shampoo every couple of months but I quick clean them once or twice a week with the MAC Brush Cleanser.

I used to do it every month but lately its turned into at least every other month.... Although, I remember to do it when I'm putting my makeup on, and then I don't wanna wait for the bristles to air dry- so I use my hair blower on them!
