How much would you bid on this house.. with link
This is the house that my other post was about. They are now asking 375. It was listed in June at 390 dropped in october to 380 and this past weekend to 375

$340K. The bedrooms are on the small side and I am fairly sure (without having been there in a while) that it backs up to some stores, or is at least close to a commercial area.

I'd go in at 320. If they want it gone, they will counter and meet in the middle at like 350. I personally would pay a penny more. Smaller bedrooms, not a huge yard. But I know nothing of Oceanside, so that may bebhuge for there.

I don't think it would make an offer at all. House is small. Lot is small.
With that said... if you want to go in, i'd go in at 310k. The seller surely knows their house and lot size is small. Price needs to be appropriate.

Probably 320-325, expecting they will counter around 350. There is a hospital close by, so I think constant sirens take away from the value a bit.
I don't know much about the area, but I personally couldn't see spending more than 350 on a house that size.

Knowing the area, I'd agree with this. I'd try getting them to 340 first and hold firm there but if you love the house I'd ultimately be willing to go to 350.

No there are no stores near it at all. In fact its on a cul de sac. Well sort of they call it that in the listing, I drove by and the block makes a big U. i always thought a cul de sac was a dead end more or less. Anyway its not far from the hospital but not super close either.It's about two long blocks away from Nassau parkway or blvd( what ever its called) and thats the back of the hospital as far as i know

I wanted to tell you that posting a house you are actually concidering buying is probably not the best idea.
Lots of people are on the market. This is an open public forum. Someone might see this house. See how much you are willing to bid on it and beat you to it with a better offer.

I would go in at $325.
I'm wondering why the taxes are so high given the lot size/home size.
I think I wouldn't pay more than $340K.

I'm sticking to 300K. I know Oceanside, live there and grew up there....that area isnt' that desirable the house is tiny. You can get a house for 50K more that is a lot bigger, in a lot better shape a bigger lot, and in a better area of Oceanside...JMO

I actually really like that section of Oceanside, and that is a nice street in that there is no through traffic. It's a small lot but very typical for that area.
It looks like it needs updating...how is the kitchen? There are no pics of it.
If you love it, I'd start bidding at $330k and go up to $350k if the kitchen is decent. I still think that's a pretty good deal in a good school district.

No its not My husband grew up in teh Estates near the country club & his yard was HUGE like football field. We alos just purchased in the Harbour near teh water & our yard is quite large as well. I would throw a bid in for 325. But i really want to knwo where it is since your link isnt listed. I could probably give you teh low down for teh area. Oceansid eis very very big with all different sections.
