How much water do you use each month?
We got a water bill, telling us our average monthly consumption, and I am appalled!
1100 gallons? For 2 people?
That seems high!

No, that doesn't seem high , it actually seems on the low side... The USGS estimates that the average person uses 80-100 gallons per day. Every time you flush the toilet, take a shower, run the dishwasher or washing machine, brush your teeth, etc you are using more water than you think.
If you have new appliances and a new toilet, that would help you to use less water, which you seem to be doing.

I can't believe that's on the low side!
We do have a new toilet. I want to get a water saving shower head, too.
