How much to offer......
I'm not good at bargaining......I saw a 2007 Sonata SE that I really, really like.....MSRP is 22,545 and with the rebates, it's being offered at 19,602.35 (with the 650 freight charge, it comes to about $20,495.
What would be a fair counter-offer? I've never done this before and don't want to be "taken"......

Start -5K from the price and work your way to happy medium. You can probably get it for $2500 less but you have start lower at the $5000 to get there. Good Luck!
eta: They might even agree to 5K less, that would awesome! It depends how bad they want to get rid of it.

Thanks, Emily! Would you believe that I'm such a chicken, I am afraid to ask for 5K less because he might laugh at me?
