How much napping is too much??
DS just started day care this week, so we're only on day 2, but he napped for practically the whole day!!
I left him there at like 8:15am and then his sleep as per day the daycare worksheet is:
845-915a
1025a-150p
345p-450p
he was just waking up when I picked him up at 450... pretty much slept the day away!
this concerns me since he never napped that much when I was home with him. plus I'm like, how engaged are they with him if he's just passed out all day? what are your thoughts? is this ok? should I say something to them?

At that age, I wouldn't worry. I think it's normal for him to be tired. He's young, it's a long day in a new place, and there is lots going on. I'm sure in a few weeks he will adjust and be awake more.

I agree. He could also be going through a growth spurt. I remember DD slept A LOT around 3 months.

most babies that age sleep that long if not longer. I worked in daycare and most babies that young took 3 naps a day. As they get older they will nap less. And change the times they nap.

oh good!!! thank you for your feedback! it's still all so new and I'm afraid of something not being "right" (def need to let go of that!) so I question everything :) now I feel better.

I think it's fine as long as he's not up all night. You don't want day/night confusion to start again at 3 months.
