How much milk is your 16 mos old drinking?
Wondering if she should still be drinking as much as she does..she's drinking around 18-22 oz a day

Don't know if this helps, but my almost 15 month old is drinking 21-24 oz./day.

When my DS was 16 months old he was drinking 24 oz+ My ped told me to cut it down (he's a big kid) So I limited it to his meals and water as much as he wanted. There are still days he wants more milk and I give it to him, but for the most part now at 22 months he drinks less.

Since my DD is off bottles, it's a little harder to get her to take as much milk as she was with the bottles. I feel like I am always trying to force more milk on her. She drinks about 12-14 oz per day, but eats plenty of yogurt and cheese every day, so the pediatrician is ok with it.

DD drinks an 8 oz. bottle in the morning, and 3 8oz. sippies during the day. So, 32 oz. She's a milk guzzler like me

My DD is off bottles too, but I give her one at night to make sure she gets her vitamin and a full 8oz in.
I would say she gets 16-20oz a day total.
She really could care less about the night one, but I am selfish and it's more for me than for her at this point.

Same here....my ped told me not to give more than 16oz a day at this point because he wants her to eat more solid food which she does (and not over do it with milk)...

DD is off botttles and ped told me she can go down to 1% milk but I'd rather just give her less milk honestly than give her 1%...I gave him a look when he told me that and he laughed and said I can do whatever I want it's not life or death obviously

That is exactly why I stayed with whole milk. I found it harder to get her to drink as much when she stopped drinking bottles.

Once my DD dropped the bottle (about 16 months) her milk intake dropped a lot!! When she drank milk in the bottle she had about 24oz/day. Once she went to the sippy cup exclusively she started drinking milk like you or I would.......she sips throughout meals and with snacks. She loves yogurt and cheese though so she's getting plenty of dairy intake, just not all from the milk now.

DD does not drink milk at all. She refuses it, even if I try to "trick" her.
Right now she is drinking the yogurt drinks and I'm  at how much sugar is in them - I think I'm going to start making them myself for her (thanks Maria for the suggestion!) so I can control the sugar.
She is also completely off the bottle, but she will drink an entire sippy of the drink - I give her 3 - 6oz sippies a day.

DS gets 1 sippy cup of milk at each meal. He probably drinks 18-24 oz of milk per day.

DS get about 18-22 oz of dairy per day. He gets pediasure twice a day instead of milk.
