How much milk at 1 year and sippy cup question?

DD currently gets 24 ounces of formula 3x a day in a bottle. She gets some water in a sippy after lunch and dinner. I am now transitioning her onto milk but I am not sure if the number of ounces should remain the same?

Also, should I start giving her the sippy with milk to replace the bottle at some point?

My pediatrician is very relaxed and tells me anything is fine so I just want to hear what you all think.

My ped said not more than 24 oz of milk a day.
Too much milk can cause anemia
As for us- she averages about 16-20 oz a day tops

In terms of teh cup- you can try, but my DD refuses milk from a sippy- will drink water in a sippy but not milk

So she's still on bottles at almost 18 months- my ped isn't too concerned either

My ped told me no more than 16 oz—I've seen varying suggestions on this board, so I guess every doctor is different.
I started trying this week. DD BFs so I'm not exactly sure of how much she takes. I tried putting 4-5 oz in a cup. She didn't have a problem drinking it from a cup, but she just doesn't like the milk at all. She sips it and then acts like it's poison and pushes it away. I tried it in a bottle, same thing. She gets formula once in awhile, so I guess I'll have to try mostly formula and a little milk and keep increasing milk/decreasing formula.

Dd ped said 16-24 oz of milk a day. Dd a greaves 20 oz. she gets 2 10oz straw sippys a day. I started when a sippy when I started transitioning to milk. It worked. She been off bottles since 14 months she's 18 months now.

I would first offer the sippy with the formul/milk in it when it was time for a bottle. I let her play with it and practice. She didnt want it at first so I would pour it into her bottle. She would finish it. I did this 1 bottle at a time and within 1/2 months she had forgotten all about bottles.

Now she's gets a morning milk cup and 1 right before bed during reading time.

My ped said no more than 12 oz and even that's not necessary.

my ped said 16-24 oz per day. also, i always suggest going straight to straw cups. they use the same suckle on the sippy spouts as they do on a bottle.

I believe my Ped said 16-24 or 18-24 oz per day of dairy (milk or cheese, yogurt, etc).

We went to a hard spout sippy first (not the soft spouts that are basically just like bottles, no point there IMO), because he couldn't get the straw at first. Then we moved straight to only straw sippies.

If you haven't started sippy cups at all yet, I HIGHLY recommend you only give milk in them at first. I've seen and heard of too many babies that will drink their water in a sippy but refuse milk in them. I think kids can get used to things so easily. Also, the sooner you switch to sippy cups, the easier it will be.

my ped said between 16-24..but not more than 24/day
milk can also be substituted for other dairy like yogurt, etc.
