How much food food does your 8 mo old eat?
How much solids/food should they be eating? Now they split a large rectangle gerber pack thickened with some oatmeal. then get a 4 oz bottle after. They also get 3/4 yogurt melts to calm them down while I'm prepping their food. They still want more but then I give the bottle and they are fine. Should I be giving more solids if they are wanting more then skip the bottle if they don't want it...Like transition them to actual meals?

How much food food does your 8 mo old eat?
I don't think you're supposed to skip bottles. Their BM/Formula is much more important for their growth over cereal/purees. My Ped always said to give bottle first, then solids afterwards. Or space them out enough so one wasn't affecting the other. This way they were still getting the nutrition they needed, but were able to practice with solids as well.
My DD schedule was:
6am - bottle
8am - breakfast
10am - bottle
12pm - lunch
3pm - bottle
5pm - dinner
7pm - bottle

DS is a little over 7 months.
~7-8:00: 6 oz bottle
~10-10:30: oatmeal and 2 oz. fruit
~12:00-12:30: 1 oz. chicken and 1/2 avacodo or 2oz of another veggie
~1:30-2: 6 oz. bottle
4 or 5: another 6 oz bottle
7ish: dinner- 2oz fruit and 2 oz veggie
8:30-9: another bottle...drinks anywhere from 3-5oz

The ped said to offer the bottle as long as they want it after feedings but if they refuse it 3x in a row drop it. She said they should only be drinking 20 oz formula and upping food food to 3x per day?? They drink 28 ish.

This is what our ped. told us to do. Give the food first and then bottle. DS has 3 meals a day and I'd say about 25-30 oz of formula a day.
I really focus on his cues. He loves food so much and loves to eat! The bottle he likes, but not as much. Some days he eats/drinks more than others.

Pretty much same exact schedule here, except switch bottle to nurse (and last nurse is at 6:00).

oh wow, I feel like dd is so off on her solids intake now!
she's almost 8 months and her schedule is:
515-545ish 8oz bottle
8-9ish 2 cubes of veggies
10am bottle 6-8oz
2pm bottle 6-8oz
445ish 3 cubes of veggies
6pm 8-9oz bottle
I should prob start giving her lunch but she is giving me a run for my money. she doesn't like oatmeal or rice cereal, and won't eat ANY fruit purees I've tried, nor will she even touch that little mesh thing with fruit in it. I can't imagine giving her veggies for a 3rd time in a day. and she has a milk allergy so I can't do yogart etc.

DD is taking 4oz of food/puree 2x a day. Sometimes I thicken with oatmeal and sometimes not..it depends how watery it is! I offer 4oz and sometimes she grunts for more lol! But only when its fruit…she is starting to hate veggies ugh.
I also do puffs once a day and sometimes mum-mums.
She nurses 4x a day and takes 20-24 oz.
