How much does your newborn sleep?
Madison cat naps all day long, she will sleep for 15-20 minutes then up for and hour. It is crazy I can get nothing done!! But a night she sleeps like a champ which is great having her last bottle at about 9:30 and then getting up at 3:30 AM then again at 7 or 8 Am which I love but the day is so long and i really don't know what to do with her!! Help!!!

I will make a deal with u---when u want alone time during the day..come here and I will go there and u can have my reflux colic screaming mimis...
no really..if u really want her up at night put her down later..my doc said if Ii want them to sleep at night then wake them every 15 mins during the day. Can there be a part of the day where she sleeps longer then 15 mins and u do not realize it?==just seems quicker?
I think she sounds great!!!

I try to follow the EASY (Eat, Activity, Sleep and You) Method from "Secrets of the Baby Whisperer" Jayden eats every 4 hours, so he'll be awake for 1.5-2 hours and then sleep for the other 2 hours. I will put him in his swing or lay him down awake and he'll usually just fall asleep.
He'll get his last bottle around 7 or 8 pm and wake up around 3 or 4 am.

I could have written this myself! Noone believe me that DS didnt sleep all day and only "cat napped". My mom spent the day with me today and finally understands. I rotate him between his swing, the bouncy seat, his boppy, holding him, etc. off and on all day. He'll sleep 15-20 min., 1/2 hour at the most. I have very little time to do anything including take a shower and eat. But he is such a good baby , I really shouldnt complain. He does sleep when I take him out with me shopping  And he does sleep well at night too.
