how much does your 8/9 month old eat?
DD is 8 months and I'm not sure if i am feeding her enough. I feel like she gets less than other babies but she is in the 90th percentile for weight. Here is her schedule:
4 bottles: 24 oz a day breakfast- 4tbsp oatmeal mixed with fruit to flavor
lunch- the rest of the fruit from the morning
dinner- a stage 2 veggie which she doesn't always finish.
is this enough?
*i did a search but couldn't find any answers although i know i have seen these posts before*

Re: how much does your 8/9 month old eat?
DD is 7.5 months. She has 4 bottles a day, but I'm lucky if she'll drink 5 ounces (except for her morning, that's always 6oz).
Breakfast is cereal and a stage 2 fruit Lunch is a yobaby yogurt and usually 1/2 to a full stage 2 veggie. Dinner used to be cereal and fruit, but I recently started giving her meat (for example, chicken and sweet potato).
Hope this helps!

Re: how much does your 8/9 month old eat?
Ryan is almost 10 months.
When I work he nurses a.m. & p.m. and gets 24oz of BM (between bottles and milk in cereal). For breakfast he does 5TBSP (appr.) of cereal and a fruit combo and a handful of cheerios.
Lunch a yogurt or dinner combo jar.
Dinner a combo jar, 5-6TBSP cereal w/ BM and puffs for dessert. I try to try new things dinner time but we're not doing great on table food. I gave him a little hamburger last night and he gagged and puked

Re: how much does your 8/9 month old eat?
DS is 12 months but at that age was doing
5- 6 oz bottles Breakfast – 4tbsp of cereal ½ a jar of fruit Lunch – 1 jar veggies Dinner – stage 2 dinner, ½ jar of fruit
It was at this age that DS started table food as well so sometimes dinner would be substituted with 1-2 meatballs, or lunch might have been a yougurt, etc.
But DS always eats A LOT, since the day he was born. Don’t worry your DC will let you know if they are hungry. Some kids need more to be full while others can just graze all day and be fine!

Re: how much does your 8/9 month old eat?
DS turned 9 months recently. He's off the bottle completely and can drink out of his sippy cups by himself. His current schedule:
Early Morning: 8 oz milk 4 Tbsp. of cereal mixed with fruit and 4 Tbsp. milk
Late Morning: 7 oz milk 4-5 oz of fruit
Early Afternoon: 5 oz of veggies mixed with meat 7 oz milk
Dinner: 5 oz of veggies mixed with meat
Before Bed: 7 oz milk
He gnaws on zwieback toast and snacks on puffs occasionally, but he still gags every once in a while. For someone who has no teeth, I'm not sure how he's able to break off big chunks of toast in his mouth
I'm not sure how the stages work for baby food because I make his food, but I've been making his food lumpier. Right now we're planning on increasing his solids to at least 6 oz so that he can begin to decrease his milk in take.
