How much does your 1 month old drink?

My DS is just 5 weeks and drinks about 3-3.5 oz every 3-4 hours. Wondering if that is normal? Sometimes he seems like he could take more but I notice when I give him more or even when he eats 3.5 oz he spits up a lot like his tummy cannot hold it all. He is on the tiny side as he was a preemie. Thanks!!!

My DD was born over 8 pounds and was drinking 3 oz every 2.5 - 3 hours at the end of her first week! Now at 4.5 weeks old, she almost 11 pounds and is drinking 4.5 oz every 3 hours. My doctor said that was okay, but above average amount so since your baby is smaller I would think that what he is drinking is fine.
