How Much Do You Pay Babysitters?
Hey everyone,
DH and I are going out tomorrow for a friends birthday and finally have asked a family friend who is 22 (and who has offered in the past) to watch the boys. I have no idea what the going rate is for babysitters. If anyone can share with me what you pay someone to come watch your kid(s) i would appreciate it. She would have to put DC to bed but that is about it.

I pay the college student that has watched DS on occasion $9-10/hr.

My sitter is in High School and we pay $7/hr

OUr sitter is a college girl we pay between $10 - 12 per hour

I would say $10 for one kid.. $12 for two children..

I pay a college grad $13 an hour for one child but she has him all day while I work so it is more of a nanny thing (including meals...) I would say for 2 though anyway prob $12+?
