How much did your baby weigh at around 28 weeks??
I had a growth sonogram today and the baby weighs 2 pounds, 15 ounces...which is in the 72nd percentile....looks like we may have a good sized baby!!

I just checked back to old posts, but my DS always was way above. At about 28 1/2 weeks he was 3lbs13oz! He ended up being 6lbs 8oz when he was born ( a little over 3 weeks early) but he was 21 inches.

My first growth sono is not for another two weeks. I have not been given any estimates at all about the size of the baby, and I'm currentlu 30w3d.

no idea... i think i am in the minority of preggos who never had a growth sono. my docs don't do them unless they suspect a problem. so i haven't seen my little one since 20 weeks - i think i am going to be in shock when he's born!

hmmm thats weird, mine was 2 pounds 9 oz and in the 54th percentile.....strange

They do it by taking measurements of the baby. And from what I understand, they can be way off.

My doctors office doesnt do them either unless their is an issue....Im considered a high-risk pregnancy so I will be having them every 3 weeks.

I guess those 6 ounces make a big difference when they are so small!

At 30 weeks DS was estimated at 4lbs 3oz....he was born at exactly 37 weeks gestation 7lbs 11oz & 20 inches long.

My docs office only did sonos in the very beginning, for the nuchal, leve II and then one more growth sono at 36 weeks...

Had a growth sono at 23 weeks she was 1 lb 3 oz. 52 percentile.
I am now 27 weeks, not sure how much she weighs.
I want another growth sono!
