How much did you pay to refinish your floors?
If you don't mind me asking. We have Pine in all three bedrooms and the upstairs hallway, and oak in the livingroom and dining room. Not sure on the square footage, but if you can give me your price, so I can at least guesstimate. TIA!

We did 3 br and an upstairs hall for about $750 last summer. We had done our downstairs previously and it was about the same for the entire first floor, stairs and hallway (avg size split) It sounds like it might be about the same size as you are talking about so $1400-$1500.

rach i can ask my neighbors tomorrow they just had their floors redone the whole house last month and you know hte size of our house so its pretty much the same.

We used Harris Floors - i recommended them on here and they were the cheapest and mostly everyone was very happy with the results. We paid about $600 for our living room, hallway, master bedroom and another bedroom. I think the charge $1.25 per square foot - I have to double check. They have a website too.
ETA: It was $1.35 per square foot

My mom had an estimate done today!
They quoted her $1100 for: dining room, living room, hallway and one bedroom. I bet you can get it cheaper.

We also used Harris, and I would NOT recommend them. We had issues with them, and while they ultimately fixed it for the most part, they even screwed that up.
Just be aware that they subcontract out their work so who you get an estimate from is not the person that shows up to do the work. If I knew that I wouldn't have used them.
ETA: We had 2 BRs, hallway, LR and dinette done for around $1300.

That's why I said "mostly everyone" was very happy.
I think everyone else on here who used them was very happy with the outcome. Sorry they didn't do a great job for you! My good friend just used them a few months ago and they came out great as well.
