How many pizzas would you order?
Party time is 2:30-4:00. 16 kindergarteners. Half the parents will be dropping off and the other half will be staying.
I am going to keep this part easy and do only pizza and cupcakes.
How many pizzas should I order?
Every year I order too much food.

I would estimate 1.5 slices per child (most of them will likely only eat 1 slice, but having extra is better than not having enough) and 2 slices per parent. So a total of around 40 slices. I guess that's about 7 pies?

I would order 4. Have them cut 2 into 16 slices for the kids. Then you have 2 for the adults. IMO its plenty. It's in between meals and a lot of the kids probably wont even want to stop to eat.

How many pizzas would you order?
I'm getting 6 pies for 15-27 adults and 8 little kids. I wanted to make sure I had more than enough instead of not enough

I would order 4 pizzas. 2 of the pies I would cut in 16s and the other two for the adults.

I would do 4 as well (cut in 16ths) especially since the party is not quite at meal time.
We had ds 1 party from 1:30-3, with more kids and parents and got 5 pies and had 2 leftover.

This is what I'd do too. Kids, even 5 years olds, can definitely eat so I would get a little more than necessary just in case. It's always better to have too much than not enough IMO.
