How many newborn and size 1 diapers?

Moms of newborns - I have 2 smaller packages of newborn diapers and 2 big boxes of size 1. Do you think that's enough newborn diapers? I figure we can switch up to the size 1 when we run out. The size difference isn't much.

In the hospital, my 7lb 12oz DS, used size 1 diapers. That's what I used when we got home, I never used newborn.

I think it's enough for the time being. We used newborn for a month bc dd was born small (5lbs 14 oz) I was 3 weeks early. Take a ton of diapers from the hospital. They are size 1. She is 3 months and is already in size 2 for about 3 weeks now.

There is probably no need to buy anymore newborn diapers. There is usually an overlap in sizes anyway. Unless DC is reaaaaaaallllllyyy tiny. There are many sites online that will show you the weight range.

DD wore size 1 diapers until she was almost 4 months. We used aprox 1200 size 1 diapers.

I think you're def good. We went through 1 box of newborn, and I can't remember exactly, but DD wasn't in size 1 for very long either.

I wouldn't get anymore newborn
I know when dd was born the hospital used size 1 diapers and they were fine. We had some newborn size at home that I used but she outgrew them before I finished them up

Too many of both.
1 bag of newborns just in case. We used them for less than a week.
Start with a bag of size 1. We used for maybe a month.

I agree to wait til you know what you need. I only had a small box of newborn size, and dd blew through them, and we needed that size til she was 2 months old! We kept having to buy more and more newborns. Yet my sil never even used newborn size!

I never even used nb size. Ds was 9lb4oz and the hospital started him in the 1-2 size

DS was 6lbs11oz. I started with NB but he was leaking out the sides cause his legs were so skinny. I ended up using preemie diapers for a week or two. Now we've been in NB for over a month. I've gone through about 200 NB diapers. He is 7 weeks old. I'm ready to bump him to size 1, but want to use up the rest of the NBs first. He's not blowing out of them, so, why not?
