How many months pregnant am I? Lol
I am 23 1/2 weeks.
When someone says how many months are you- how do you respond?
It it the month you're starting? The month you've finished? Do you bother with halves?
I know this sounds stupid...

i say the month that i'm in. Right now i'm in my 6th month (just over 27w). next week i'll be in my 7th month.

I do the one I just completed.. I'm 24 weeks and change.. so I'm in my 6th month, but completed 5 months so I am 5 months. I kinda do it like age.. the year I completed at my last bday is the age I am.

To make the math easier, you can count 4 weeks as a month. That's what most people do when you tell them how far along you are anyway.
At 4 weeks, you've completed one month.
At 8 weeks, you've completed 2 months.
At 12 weeks, you've completed 3 months.
...and so on.
So, by 24 weeks, you've COMPLETED 6 months. If you want to be all technical about it, you complete 6 months at about 26 weeks, because there are 30/31 days in a month, not 28.
I can't wait till I'm 36 weeks (next week!) so I can tell people I'm 9 months pregnant.

your math's not off.. lolol.. I use this site http://www.baby2see.com/pregnancylength.html
and at 40 weeks.. your preggo slightly more than 9 months.. so I think that's where got their calculations..

Its so funny b/c for some people i say how many weeks i am and other peoole i have to say it in months! My favorite is when i say how many weeks i am and they look at me like i have 5 heads!

I just divide the week by 4...
So I am 16 weeks = 4 months!

I have a question for the girls that understand this stuff better,lol
if your due date is the 1st of august when you hit the first, does that make you that many months pregnant?
ie due date august 1
assume today is march 1
you would be 5 months pregnant? since 40 weeks makes month 10?
is this possible to figure it out this way for those that never understand the "weeks" or this totally off
