How many minutes does (did) your 6 month old nurse for?
DD is getting real quick. It's always longest in the am and then seems to get progressively shorter throughout the day. I just tried to feed her around 5:30 and it was literally minutes. I can't tell if she's just distracted (she's into everything right about now) or full. She's not looking for more though.
How long does your DD nurse for?

My 8-week old nurses for 5 minutes sometimes. I was concerned but doctor said it was fine...they will eat what they need. Although I was nervous, he is clearly getting enough since he was 12 pounds at 6 weeks!

DS is 7 months old and his first and last feedings are the longest... maybe 15-20 minutes. Throughout the day they are like 5-7. He's fast!

My guy has always been fast. He is almost 4 months old and only takes 3-10 minutes every 1-3 hours. He is already over 18lbs lbs at 3.5 months so I know he is getting enough in that short period!

5 minutes or so. DD is 7.5 months and basically takes one long swig.

 my DD is the same way! almost 7 months and takes only a few minutes to nurse, except for nighttime and naptime.

Okay, I feel better now. Thanks all!
She even takes a short feeding at bedtime because she usually falls asleep. But she's STTN so I assume she's not hungry. She's 19.8 lbs at 6 months, so clearly, she's not hurting for food.
