How many days w/o eating before a Dr.'s visit?
I want to preface this by saying, my child is not a good eater...It isnt that he is picky, but that he doesnt always like to eat...
On Sunday he ate WONDEFULLY- but hasnt really eaten since...???
On Monday I wasnt really concerned because he often "pigs out" one day and then the next, eats less- almost like he "stores up"...but today is Thursday and Im getting to be a little
This morning- I offered him a junk food breakfast in a desperate attempt to get him to eat SOMETHING... (donut and fruit loops) he wouldnt even take a bite
I have offered all of his favorite foods, and at best he takes a single bite and thats it...
The other night he told me "I can't, my mouth".. I asked if his throat hurt and he told me "yes"- in which he then heard me tell my DH it was time to see the ped. Now he swears his throat doesnt hurt anymore...???
His throat doesnt appear to be red, and he does not have a fever (and those of you who know us- KNOW Rj runs really really high fevers usually) He isnt acting sick, and is sleeping well..
He has become a little constipated, but I can only assume its because he isnt eating anything to really have a BM...
He is drinking just fine....
So do I continue to wait it out or make an apt??

I would def. take him...you want to monitor that he isn't losing weight...is he still drinking?
eta: sorry, just saw the drinking part...will he drink a smoothie??

I would def. take him...you want to monitor that he isn't losing weight...is he still drinking?

Not sure... this morning he wanted a slurpee, but that wasnt on the menu
I tried to bribe him last night with a milkshake if he ate his dinner... and he told me "no thank you, I dont want a milk shake either"
