How long to wait to test??

I have posted before about not feeling well and waiting for AF to appear. My cousin/sis/BF sent me a website that can tell you or guesstimate when AF should arrive next. I remember the day AF showed last month because I was in a store buying supplies for my daughters project that was due that Mon. and all of a sudden IT WAS TIME TO GET HOME ASAP . Now according to the website AF should have came again on the 17th. It is now the 21 going on the 22nd and still nothing. I went out and bought a test so I am a little anxious to take it and finally find out. Is now good or should I wait some more?

If AF is late then it is definitely a good time to test!

I had tested over the weekend but it came up a BFN. My cousin looked up the info with regards to the test itself and she found that Fact Plus doesnt read Low levels of the pregnancy hormone. So I bought a diff brand so we'll see.

The first test I took (which supposedly DID test for low levels of the preg. hormone) was negative.....a few days later a faint positive and a few days after that still a faint positive..... Don't lose hope!!! Good Luck!!!

I know that I am nuts to still be up at this hour, however I couldnt sleep. I am still feeling nauseous so I took the test and again a BFN. My OBGYN is pretty cool, I think if I email him and let him know what is going on maybe he would suggest something maybe waiting a little longer to test again or coming in for a blood test.

I would test everyday until AF came and test first thing in the morning. I couldn't help myself.

if Aunt Flow is late, take a test, i was 4 days late and took a test bc i got sick a few days before that... Go for it GOOD LUCK!

PS take it in the moring you have higher levels, and it will show up if it is really early

I will try maybe over the weekend. I am also going to email my OBGYN. I dont know if to be happy that it hasnt come yet or a little disappointed. I tend to like to plan these types of things, and this wasnt planned at all. I mean if it is so then we will be fine I know that DH will be excited.

Wow, you are very patient. I tested twice a day until AF came, or until I got my BFP! That's why I love the dollar tree tests because I didn't break the bank.

Took the test still nothing I will try again for the FMU. I will keep you ladies posted.

Did you buy the digital?

Do it first thing in the morning when you wake up. It's more "concentrated".

Well I went out tonight and bought the dollar tree ones just to see if I would get an answer without constantly blowing money. I have an EPT left from before that I will use in the morning. After that I am at a loss. the EPT is not digital it is the regular one.

Some girls had a BFN until 1 week after AF was due... to you.

thanks for the dust. I have a website that you put in when your last period started,how many days in your cycle, and how long it lasts. AF should have came on the 17th and left today.

were you stressed out midcycle? so around the 3rd or so? If so that can delay ovulation and delay the hormones or delay AF.

AF came today. Not sure how to feel, relieved and a little disappointed. We'll see for next month maybe come to a decision that YES we are going to be actively trying.

Good luck next month!!!!! If your cycles are off, maybe you should try testing for ovulation. You might not ovulate when you think you do. To save me money with my irregular cycles I tested with the saliva ovulation test. If you have any questions about it, please FM me!
