How long is it ok to let him cry for while doing CIO?
It's been 45 minutes already...standing in his crib.

took Nina almost 2 hours  the first night only, the second night was like 20-30mins I think and then the night after that, just some fussing.

It took 1 1/2 hours the first night. We're now down to 15-20 minutes before he conks himself out.

At night as long as it takes, there is no limit. Its hard I know, but you certainly don't want to reward crying for that long!

yup the first night took an hour and a half. You just have to let them go. I know how hard that is. But it will be worth it!

I went in every few min to lay DD down, after 3 times she went to sleep. Whole CIO took less then 20 min.
