My box says 7-10 days, I've gone a few days over. Smell it, if its really strong I think it should be dumped.

Thats what I do...I make the my girls chicken noodle soup all the time..its usually to hot and they need to put in a few ice cubes...so we have chicken cubes!

It says 7-10 days, but I've definitely gone longer. In fact, I didn't even notice the expiration time the first half-dozen times I've used it.
