How long did it take the sellers to sign the contract?

We were kind of rushed into signing the contract on our end (they continued to show the house- ALOT (so we were told)- after we had an accepted offer) We went over the contract once, and it wasn't what it should be, so we didn't sign. Everything was ironed out over that weekend and we signed last monday. The sellers STILL haven't signed it.

I can't move forward with the mortgage until they do.

Our RE said that they are waiting for the contracts from the house they put an offer on to be sent to their attorney so they can sign them all at once.

I'm getting a little nervous that they are going to back out or something.

We're being told that they will "probably" sign on wednesday.

I should just chill out, right?

We signed our contract and gave our check. Then the owner staled on signing it, had one more open house and waited to see if any offers came in. Personally I think that is crap because they should not have been having open houses and such when they already had our money But no one else was stupid enough to bid on the house so we ended up with it.

We signed our half of the contracts, took them almost a MONTH later to sign their half of the contracts, their seller kept the house on the market, told people it was still available, and kept showing it.. we freaked because they had our deposit, but in the end they signed...
