How long before an IUI have you triggered?

Monday will be my 3rd IUI.
1st - BFP with my DS
2nd - BFP but had a loss at 9.5w
For both of these, I triggered on Tuesday night my IUI was scheduled for Thursday morning.

This time, they are having me trigger first thing tomorrow morning and my IUI is at 8am on Monday. Is this enough time? I feel like we timed it perfectly the last two times, so I am feeling a little uneasy.

TIA!!

My doctor always triggers exactly 36 hours before IUI.

That's what I figured. Do you think I should ask for a later IUI on Monday? I don't know what to do...

I've always triggered about 36 hours before the IUI. The cycle I got my BFP was about 35.5 hours. Anything around this is supposedly "ideal."

If you're using fresh sperm you can trigger as early as 24 hours before IUI. But frozen should be as closer to 36 hours since it has a shorter life.

Re: How long before an IUI have you triggered?

Thanks for the responses, ladies!

We are using fresh sperm, so I guess we are "OK", but it's just not sitting right with me this time. I called RSofNY this morning and asked them if 24 hours is typical and they keep telling me yes. I questioned them about triggering 36 hours before all my other IUIs, and she pretty much said that whether I triggered last night or this morning, my IUI would still be on Monday morning. They wanted me to do one more dose of Gonal to grow my follies a bit more... I had an 18m and 22m yesterday. Does anyone know if RSofNY is usually open to B2B IUIs? They never mentioned this before. I am not covered for meds, so I wanted to make this month optimal since I got the Gonal from one of you wonderful ladies! We will be BD tomorrow night and Tuesday morning to cover our bases either way.
