How long at a job before you ask for a promotion?
I changed jobs recently to take a position working from home but stayed within the same field. In my previous position I was a manager overseeing 2 programs. Now that I Have my foot in the door and have been there for about 7 months I am wondering if it would be too soon to seek a supervisor position that had just opened. Should I wait?

How long at a job before you ask for a promotion?
Do you have to be in your current position for a certain amount of time before you can even apply for another position? I know my company you have to be there for atleast 6 months but I know of some you have to be there longer. If not and you already have the qualifications then I say go for it.
