How long are you in for a c-section?
If I am in on Wed morning, am I out Sat or Sun morning? We have to have something done in our house and I just scheduled it for Sat.

It kind of depends on how you feel and on what your doctor likes to do. I had my section on Sunday morning and was discharged on Thursday morning. I could have gone home on Wednesday if I felt up to it, but I kept the epidural PCA in until Tuesday, so I stayed the extra day.

I had my c/s on a Wednesday morning and I left by noon on Sunday. I had the option to leave on Saturday though.

You are in for 4 days, and usually leave the morning of the 5th day. I had mine on a Sunday and left on a Thursday. Its up to your doc though, mine said he would discharge me on Wednesday if I felt up to it, but I stayed in another day.

Yes but they are doing slight construction. I guess I will keep it for Sat and play it by ear.

I had my c section on tuesday night at 8 and was released friday morning at 10. he asked me if i wanted to leave fri or sat I said def friday i knew id heal better and sleepbetter at home lol

I'd say SUnday the earliest.
I had my c/s on a Friday and they didnt let me go home until Tuesday.
Providing there are no complications I'd saythey will keep you til Sunday.
But TRUST ME, its worth staying - you NEED that rest and having the nurses to take care of you while the nursery takes care of the baby is a God send...take advantage of it and rest up. When you come home it's tough taking care of an infant while being in pain from the surgery.

4 nights, 5 days.
I had DD on Wednesday at 3:36PM (but I was there at 9AM) and left Sunday Afternoon around 1PM.

Went in Wednesday night (Induced)
Had c-section Thursday night
Discharged on Sunday 12 Noon
was allowed to stay another day, but opted to go home, everything was ok so my Doc approved.

I was induced Thursday Morning - had emergency C-Section that day. I felt good so Friday I asked my Dr when I could go home ( Icouldn't wait to go home) and he said I could go home Sat or Sunday so I chose Saturday

I had Molly on 11/25 and came home on 11/29. I kept Molly with me FULL TIME while in the hospital, except for 30 minutes each morning when she got weighted and checked by the ped. I was very glad to have her with me like that. Scott also stayed with me overnight since i had a private room.
You can't ever count on exactly when you will be released as you are having major surgery. You may need to stay longer based on medical need.

With Emma i was in on Wednesday and out on Saturday. With Jeremy I was in on Friday and home on Tuesday

I think youre legally allowed 4 nites, they try to talk you into staying less...
I was up and about and feeling great the next morning, and they were like "hmm, you seem to be doing great, ready to go home?"
I stayed every day I was entitled to. and thats what I plan to do next time
too

I delievered on Friday and was released on Tuesday. I think Saturday is cutting it close for you. You don't know how you're going to feel. Some people feel fine after, others take longer to recover.
