I just need to be mentally prepared. Chat Icon Both have been rocking for awhile now and so I feel like it should be any day now...how long after DC rocked, did they actually start crawling forward?

Good question. I think we are right behind you - we are crawling backwards right now!! Does rocking come after that???

Also, when are you going to post some pics of your bathing bikini beauties!! I want to see them!!!!

The same day one started rocking she started crawling backwards too. Oh and one of my DDs new thing is to only stand - not sit. If I put her down to sit she straightens her legs and wants to only stand - kid is going to go right from sitting to standing, no crawling! Chat Icon

Aw thanks - check out Multiples, I posted some there. Chat Icon

Everytime I stand DD up, she jumps!! I can't get her to keep her legs still!!! It took her 2 months to finally jump in her jumperoo and now her little legs are always jumping Chat Icon

Steven "slithered" for about 2.5 months. About 3 or 4 weeks after rocking he crawled. He would do some "steps" here and there, but full out crawl was 3 or 4 weeks.

That is so cute! I have one that definitely loves to jump more than the other. She is always on the go - dancing and moving! Chat Icon

No rocking or crawling for Jared. He went right to pulling himself up from sitting and then holding on to the couch and walking.

Re: How long after DC rocked, did you have a crawler?

One of DDs has been rocking for a week now and my other DD has not interest in trying to get into a crawling position. I try to help her, but she goes flat on the ground, all she wants to do is stand also.

I'd like to know too. Bella's been rocking for a week now. So far no movement. She's giving me extra time to baby proof I guess.

Re: How long after DC rocked, did you have a crawler?

DD went from crawling backwards, then to rocking, then to standing on her back legs, then to crawling with her knees but not moving her hands (I called this the leap crawl), then finally figured out to do both and was officially crawling within 1 1/2 months.
