how is bbb w/exchanges and do they assemble strollers?

dh and i think we remember seeing a sign by the strollers at buy buy baby that they will assemble one you purchase before you leave the store. does anyone know?
also, how is their return/exchange policy? basically i registered for the city-mini in stone color and my MIL purchased it for my shower - it's in a big box. we were torn about which color to register for - stone or the purple/eggplant color and now i'm kind of leaning towards the purple. so what we were thinking about doing was bringing the one we have back, and exchanging it for the purple and having them assemble it. (cuz we're lazy and if they offer it and we're already there, why not? )
but buy buy baby is a hike for us - so i don't want to make the trip if the exchange would be a production - and we're not going to exchange, then we may as well keep and assemble the one we have, ourselves.

I'm not sure about assembly, I honestly never noticed the sign, but if you go that route maybe call ahead to make sure they do. We got the City Select, and my DH was able to assemble it rather quickly and he is the least handy person I know. I'm usually the one doing that stuff. Assuming that there can't be too much of a difference between city mini and city select

You probably do not need someone to assemble it. Most are in only 2 or 3 parts. Really not hard. Almost like snap on wheels and go

They are great with returns and the stroller is super easy to assemble like pp said - I assembled our double myself in a few minutes.

I had purchased the UppaBaby Vista but then decided I wanted the Bugaboo Cameleon. So I brought the UppaBaby back and they actually refunded the money back onto my debit card (this was what I wanted bc I'd already ordered the Bugaboo since I'm an idiot and didn't think to return the UppaBaby FIRST but it worked out 100%). If you made the original purchase they will give you a refund if that's what you want. If someone else purchased it you will get store credit. Either way I am certain you will have no problem exchanging anything.
