how hot is too hot?

i heard that ur not supposed to take hot showers while TTC or when ur pregno. but how do u know if its too hot? TIA

I like my hot water, I tend to take pretty darn hot showers. I am 25 weeks along and just went to the dr tonight for check. everything looks great - baby is great so I dont think the hot showers are a problem. they do say not to sit in hot tubs though.

how showers are okay.. (just be sure to load up on the lotion once you're out because as your belly gets bigger; the itchier it'll get) Just no saunas or hot tubs/jacuzzis

Same here, I have been taking hot showers (not too hot) and everything is fine.

I love my hot showers...however i do find i have to lay down after i come out because i get a little lightheaded and nausea....but after 5 minutes and some water i feel better.

You're not supposed to take them too hot for the risk of getting lightheaded and nauseous- and passing out!
So if you start to feel like this- that is when you know it's too hot.

I love a warm - hot shower but not too hot. I like hot water running down my back but try to avoid anything too wam on my belly.
