I think you can order it a day or two before.
They also usually have a bunch of half sheets in the refrigerator case you can just ask them to write on, if it's really last minute.

Be aware they do stop taking orders during busy graduation season, so if it is a cake during mid to late june I'd order it now.

If my local bakery didn't charge $75-$100 for a cake I'd def order through them. I think BJs cakes taste pretty good.
ETA: We've ordered a bunch of cakes from them and they said they really only need 24-48hrs notice

I was going to order a photo sheet cake at BJs- but I found out their full sheet cakes are just cake, no filling. So I went to Waldbaums (I've heard Stop & shop and pathmark are the same) instead, where you have your choice of strawberry or pudding or whatever filling- just about the same price as bjs-for cannolli filling, it was $10 extra, which I did and thought was so worth it. I ordered the day before. Good luck.

We got one from Costco the day before my DD's 1st bday. Everyone said it was delicious. And it had a filling.
