How early do you test?

Last cycle I was going to start testing at 10dpo but started spotting that day and AF showed the next AM. This cycle I plan to start testing around 10-11dpo if AF doesn't show first

I will be a major hypocrite here but my advice is to hold out till AT LEAST 12dpo if you can. Did I ever do that? Umm. Maybe once in 3+ years. I just think it's the most reliable because you could end up with a negative just to get a positive a few days later (happened to me once) and it causes you to be upset for no reason. That can happen even with testing at 12dpo but at least it's less likely than if you tested a couple days sooner.

The times I was able to hold out the longest were the times I didn't keep tests in the house.

How early do you test?

I tested when I thought I got my period but checked my temp and it was still high. Ended up the bleeding was from implantation. That was 8DPO with DS (#1).

With this one, I was waiting until about 2 days before I missed my period so not to waste a test. I wasn't as anxious to find out...probably because I knew in my heart I was PG (felt nauseated already).

i tested and got a BFP at 11dpo. But thats not usually the norm, and i had no will power. If you can hold out, i would wait it out as long as you can.
I tested with FMU on 10dpo and got a BFN, and then got a BFP 24 hours later

Everyone has a different story to tell you about when they got their BFP.

I had the faintest of faint lines at 13dpo using a wondfo but a BFN still using a digital -- and just as faint on the 14dpo when my period was due.

The next day I got a pretty good positive using a wondfo.

I kept POAS for like a week after just to watch my line get darker and use up the rest of my tests. Sure enough the line did get darker but never what I'd consider a full on super dark line -- but I didn't need to see that.

Every time I tested early it was negative. When I finally waited until my period was late it was positive. OBVIOUSLY since I wasn't pregnant the other times the results would have been the same. The time I got a pregnant I felt like it was the first time I wasn't stressing over it.
